Allergy to iodine : For some infiltrations, iodine can be replaced with air.
Physiotherapy : Plan an appointment for physiotherapy within 24 hours following an infiltration in the shoulder (Distensive Arthrography), to improve the spread of the medication and thus ease the pain of physiotherapy exercises while still under the influence of the anesthetic.
Exams requiring a preparation

Esophagus only and/or deglutition study Barium meal double contrast and esophagus. Small intestine (length of the exam between 1 and 3 hours, for your comfort, bring slippers and housecoat). |
Fasting: do not eat, drink or smoke After 22H the night before.

Barium enema double contrast Intravenous pyelography (If there is an allergy to iodine, the exam will have to be done at the hospital).

A few days before the exam, buy at the drug store a box of ROYVAC. The night before the exam, carefully follow the instructions on the box.

• The consultation request from your doctor, • Your health insurance card and the way you intend to pay • The images on CD and results of prior exams.
Arrive 15 to 30 minutes earlier to find a parking space and to open your file. |
